نازنين افشين جم  Nazanin Afshin Jam

Nazanin was born in Tehran Iran, during the turmoil of the Iranian Revolution in 1979, Nazanin's family was forced to leave all their worldly possessions behind and flea to freedom, when her father had been jailed and tortured by the Revolutionary Guard under the new regime (Islamic Republic of Iran). Awaiting execution, it was the family's escape to Europe that saved them from political persecution.

Faced with adversity so early in life, the revolution impacted her core. She became a Royal Canadian Air Cadet and obtained the highest rank of Warrant Officer First Class while obtaining her pilots license. Nazanin continued her passion in global awareness and acquired a Double Major Degree in International Relations and Political Science at the University of British Columbia, and received scholarships to study at the prestigious L'Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris and at the International Study Center at Herstmonceux Castle in England.

During university, Nazanin supported herself working as both an actress/model, and volunteered her time as a Global Youth Educator with the Red Cross raising awareness on global issues such as the landmine crisis, children affected by war and the poverty-disease cycle.

Nazanin says her favourite job was working with youth in raising awareness of global issues and humanitarian crises, such as landmines, the poverty-disease cycle and children affected by war.

Nazanin has received dozens of awards throughout her education, and has appeared in several television shows, movies and music videos. She loves flying, sailing, kayaking and go-kart racing, and has special training in voice, drama, public speaking, dance - and bush survival skills! and was Squadron Commander and Warrant Officer First Class in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. She is fluent in English, French and Farsi, and speaks conversational Spanish.

نازنين افشين جم بعد از احراز عنوان ملکه زيبائی کانادا، شهرتش فراگير شد.

ايرانی الاصل بودن نازنين افشين جم و فرار اجباری خانواده اش از وطنشان ذهن او را از کودکی نسبت به مسائل ايران حساس کرد و از نوجوانی به فعاليت های بشر دوستانه پرداخت.

درباره موزيک ويديوی "يک روزی" که با دکلمه پايانی که اين انقلاب، انقلابی است "پيشرو" میگوید بالاخره در ايران انقلاب می شود و اوضاع موجود در ايران نميتواند پايدار باشد.

او آنچه توان دارد برای نجات جان انسان و آزادی در ایران را انجام داده و میدهد و دست یاری جهانیان و هموطنانش را میطلبد.

وی یکی از الگوهای جوانان برون مرزی و داخل ایران امروز است که روز به روز شاهد فعالیت آنان در ایران و جهان هستیم.
